Branding for Milk Parlor in Huntingburg, Indiana.

This project is ongoing but began as a rebrand for Cool Beans Coffee Shop. The owners work in close collaboration with local farms. A milk parlor is a house in which a farmer milks the cows. This is where they found the inspiration for the name.

For me, the main sources of inspiration for the logo are the old milk can, weathered barn wood, and the weathered "Milk Parlor" signs I found were commonly hung atop the door of these structures.

The branding has included a wall painting of the logo above the entrance and stickers for their coffee carafes. In progress is a system for illustrating chalk art for their menus, as well as illustrating their drink construction.
