Monster Disc Golf is a personal endeavor of myself and my good friend, Stephen Montgomery. There's a lot to say about this one, so I'll try to be brief.
First, the theme comes from our love for classic movie monsters of all sorts, so, naturally, I started by searching early 1900's newpaper archives until I found the word "MONSTER" in a type that I liked. Then I edited it to what you see below. Second, we wanted to represent all of the most popular monsters in an icon set that could be paired with the wordmark. This part seemed like a great job for... the intern! So, credit to Drew Dawson on dealing with my many revisions and cranking out these awesome little monsters.
