Invitation for the 2014 Mayor's Arts Awards in Evansville, Indiana. This year, the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana wanted to highlight their reach within the community. The problem was that their reach is quite vast, and fitting everyone that they partner with onto a single invitation was impractical. As a solution, we worked to together to simplify all of the locations into generic cateogories. From there, we created fictional neighborhoods for the categories as to not lose the neighborhood connection feel. The illustrations for these neighborhoods feature a collage of local architecture relevant to the locations represented by the category.
